OUR PHOTOGRAPHER Ger O'Loughlin captures the moment senior football manager Fergal O'Donnell gets swamped by fans after his courageous side captured the county's first Connacht senior football title in nine years at McHale Park on Sunday last. Fergie's men upset all the pre-match odds to deservedly defeat hotly fancied Sligo by a single point.
The final whistle sparked emotional scenes for the thousands of Rossies who descended onto the pitch after the game.
